Gum disaster.

This morning Tori had a piece of gum.  At like 10:00.

Fast forward to 2:00.  Tori had a piece of gum in her hair.

So the lecture started.  "Tori, when you are done with your gum you really have to put it in the garbage.  Now it's stuck in your hair and I'll have to cut it out and that's going to be sad."  I picked at it a little, but it wasn't connected to too much hair and it would be pretty well hidden once I cut it out.  So I took her into the bathroom and sat her on the counter and I was still lecturing about how gum stays in your mouth or goes in the garbage, and she keeps saying to me "I wanted to cut my hair, I wanted a haircut, I wanted you to cut the gum out."  She just can't be wrong, this haircut was definitely her idea.  Bull headed little thing.   So I snipped it out and you can see a little chunk of hair that's been cut on the side and she gets all sad "I didn't want a haircut!!! WAAH!"

I made it up to her by giving her a cute hairstyle and now when she gallops she can really get that ponytail swinging.  Then she looked so damn cute I gave her a cookie and made her endure 10 minutes of picture taking.  She is a good sport and she has mastered the wistful gaze out the window.  It's like she knows she has crazy amazing eyes.
