Some stuff to say.
I came to this blog today to see if the girl who owns it has posted recently. Then I realized that I am that girl, and indeed I am the laziest blogger ever.
Lots of exciting things have been happening. I'm still sick to my stomach and that is really not exciting but I got to go have an endoscopy and while that wasn't particularly exciting, the 6 hour nap I had afterward was one of the coolest things that has happened to me in recent history. Plus my doctor wears an orange watch so I automatically trust him with my esophagus.
Court and I had our 13th anniversary. Wahoo! The good news is we still like each other. Actually, I'm pretty sure we love each other too and that is for sure exciting. I had a client tell me recently that year thirteen is the year that does everyone in. Then she listed like 28 couples who divorced during their thirteenth year of marriage. Thanks for the vote of confidence sister! Geez Louise. I felt like I had to really pull out my sales skills to convince her that we are going strong with not too much to worry about. I promise! We're good. No really, we really really love each other. We hold hands a lot. And we still have things to talk about. And, and, and.... I promise. We're doing good. Would you like hairspray with that?
Court also got his first of many(?) diplomas and I'm really happy for him. What a man! Also he cut my hair at 11:00 one night a couple of weeks ago. 4 inches off the bottom and a little help with the layering I couldn't reach myself. I'm thinking of sending him to beauty school now.
Charlotte started kindergarten. Day one was rough. As all the other happy shiny kindergarteners sat at their desks and let their moms and dads snap annoying pictures, my Charlotte was glued to my legs and crying. The only one crying. So then I got all teary eyed. Her teacher had to peel her off of me and then said to me quietly, "run!" Day two she was still a bit nervous, but she toughed her way through it. Now we've completed a whole week of kindergarten and she doesn't even want me to walk her all the way to the door anymore. What a champ!
Victoria and I get lots of time to hang out now. We go to Target, we get Slurpees, we watch TV, we dance, we nap. Don't tell Charlotte about any of this because we have to clean up all the evidence by the time she gets back from school. Tori wants to be RIGHT BY ME the whole time Charlotte is at school. She is hugging me, squeezing my cheeks, telling me secrets, sitting on my lap, draped across me on the couch. It is the Tori and Kate show and one of us is getting smothered. But she's so sweet I can't say no.
Well, there we go. A little bit of blogging for posterity. I feel better now. We're headed to Panguitch and we're super excited! It's a glamorous life. xoxo

Tori has gotten so big! WOW! How does it go so fast? I love Charlotte's back to school outfit. Very hip. She had to be the best dressed girl. Good to see you back in the world of Blog.
Your girls ate beautiful! I think you need to come by my studio :) Jack starts school next Wednesday and I'm pretty sure he'll be crying too. He's so nervous. See you tomorrow!
Ha! That was suppose to be "are". Dumb phone.
Tori is definitely Court's twin. Holy cow.
Happy 13 years! Wow!
Charlotte is such a fashionable little dresser!
I'm a little late to this party, but I have to say that I do a lot of the same things with my last remaining child at home. We always have to hide the evidence...though he hasn't mastered the art of being discrete with the Happy Meal prize. I have to keep reminding my older kids, who profoundly feel the "not-fair"-ness that they were once the youngest too.
Enjoy it while you can, cause it will be over before you know it.
