I am beautiful, no matter what they say.
Last night my chicks and I were sitting at the table eating some toast and whatnot. Charlotte and I were talking about something when Victoria piped in with the sweetest little voice, and with kind of a weird glazed expression on her face:
“Words can’t bring me down!”
Glee may be a morally corrupt show (for sure not appropriate for viewing by the 3 and 5 year old) but the messages from the songs are incredibly valuable. Thanks also to Christina Aguilara.

That's awesome.
Kate I am guaranteed that when I need a smile i come to your blog and voila...a smile is produced! your girls crack me up and your writing style is fresh and sassy...did you ever write for Franklin/Covey? Yes, the content in Glee is questionable, but the music, however, is beyond stellar! Tell me again when is best for lunch...??
I miss Glee!!!! Let me rephrase that...I miss the wholesome pilot episode of Glee and the slightly questionable first season of Glee!!!!! Season 2 just took it way too far over the top for me. I was having to catch all the episodes on Hulu because I could never time it right to plop down and watch as it aired so it was kind of a chore to keep up with. Then when I hit the episode of the girls mackin' on the bed I kinda threw up in my mouth a little. I gave up at that point. So sad. But I DO love love LOVE the music!!!
And there you have my Glee soapbox. lol
I have my kids listen to clips of Sue to get them ready for the real world.
