Read-A-Thon

Reading Charles Dickens makes me feel like a weird combination of a genius and an idiot.
I have been reading this Charles Dickens novel since JUNE.

And I’m not going to allow myself to blog again until I finish it.  Hopefully I can finish it before this June.

I feel the same way about that guy's stuff. Hence, I didn't read any of his books when I was under a time commitment. :-)

The thing with Dicken's is that you have to give him at least 100-200 pages before the books get good. I love- Oliver Twist, Hard Times, A Tale of Two Cities, David Copperfield and Great Expectations.

Mrs Haversham, is one of my favorite characters of all time. Great Expectations is amazing. All of them are. Now I haven't read the book you are reading. I have a huge book list. Once I have finsished my revisions. The books for judging and my other two books I have to read, I shall read it. Oh, I down loaded the Marie Antoinette series. So let me read those too.

love you kate.

I so want to love Dickens!!! I tried Oliver Twist and couldn't get past page 70. I even tried the new BBC movie of Bleak House and that was so boring I couldn't even finish it so I knew I could never try the book. Good, dearest Kate!!!
