We meet again.

Oh The Biggest Loser.  You are back.
I avoided The Biggest Loser for many many seasons.  Who cares about people who are losing weight?  Not this chunky chick!  But now I’ve been watching for a few seasons and I’m 100 percent hooked.
It’s such an emotional rollercoaster--and I’ll be honest; I LOVE an emotional rollercoaster.  I cried no less than seven times watching the season premier.  It’s a good way for me to work out some of my own pent-up emotions.  Free therapy.
I always love the beginning of the season when every single contestant is fatter than me so I can feel all smug.  Did you see how long it took them to run a mile?  Shoot, I ran three miles today in that amount of time.  Then they start to shrink.  Rapidly.  And then I’m panicking.  Oh my gosh, are her legs skinnier than mine?  How tall do you think she is?  Is she as tall as me?  She can’t be.  She weighs less.  Oh crap.
Then they are all skinnier than I am and I pop a bag of popcorn.
Cheers!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Biggest Loser! I'm like you--avoided about the first 5 seasons and then Shannon got me hooked while she was living here. I can't get enough!

I love the Biggest Loser too! It is the one show where I would feel bad eating a whole bag of Oreos but at the same time would like to eat a whole bag of Oreos to satisfy the emotional cravings brought on by the show.

The guy from Arkansas is my friend Kristi's (Y alum) dad. Even that hasn't compelled me to watch, though I know I should just to see her. But don't get me wrong, I've got my own guilty pleasures/vices (hello: RW/RR Challenge!)

I watched for a few seasons - and its so amazing to see the transformations. I'm always trying to guess their height too. And the moment when they get skinnier than me always comes. Maybe I'll watch again this season. I need a little motivation to lose 10 more lbs. (Ive lost 20 this summer. BooYa!)

You are hilarious! I don't usually watch until the last few weeks. I like to see the instant shrinkage pictures and say "Holy Crap!".

And I wonder why I can't drop 20 pounds overnight.
