Lazy blogger.
I haven’t blogged anything for a whole week. I even skipped my regularly scheduled Pass The Buck Thursday. Did anyone notice? I didn’t.
I’ve been really busy, you wouldn’t even understand. Actually, we’ve just finally had some nice sunny warm weather so I ripped out 4 dead shrubs in the yard and planted flowers and stuff. I hope it all thrives because I kind of don’t have a clue what I’m doing.
I’m also getting ready for my next Ragnar which is the Wasatch Back and it’s this coming weekend. Waah! This week! For a while I was wondering why I would want to do two of these things in one year, but I’m actually getting really excited for this one. Even though I have to do 7.4 miles uphill.
[For those not in the know, Ragnar Relay is a 12 person running relay that spans about 200 miles. Each person runs 3 legs of the race of varying lengths and it takes anywhere from 20 to 30 or so hours to complete it. So fun!]
So I’ve been cramming for a test, so to speak, and running my arse off for the last couple of weeks. Just in the last 2 days I’ve run 10 miles. You’d think my butt would be smaller than it is. Curious. Anyway, I’m feeling pretty prepared for my 14+ miles I’m required to do this weekend. As prepared as I’m gonna be.
So I’m working on my playlist for the race. Any suggestions? I just acquired Roxette’s greatest hits. Hold on tight, you know she’s a little bit dangerous.
Oh yeah.

Oooh, gardening, running, is there anything you cannot do? I'm totally in awe/jealous! Good luck on your race-I hope you have so much fun!
Shouldn't it be called "Roxette's Greatest Hit"?
Hey, I am in the Ragnar too this weekend!!! I am running #12 for a team called the "Crop Dusters". Look for me. Seeing a fellow blogger might do my spirits well.
Dang, you just threw me back to my High School days....oh, so long ago.
Excuse me as I now go rent "Pretty Woman", "Dirty Dancing" and dig out my Debbie Gibson tape.
Good luck on your race!
Yay for Roxette! And just like that, I have Must Have Been Love in my head!
Good luck with the Ragnar! That's one thing I will never, ever be seen doing. I'm sooo not a runner!
So jealous you're doing Ragnar! Just in the last week a dozen different people have asked me if I'm doing it...alas, I am heading to a thrilling family reunion. You'll have to enjoy it doubly for me, and ROCK that big uphill. You can do it! (Just don't forget water and fuel of some sort...)
Poison, Heart, and Def Leppard!
Your post today was AWESOME!
You'll do awesome Babe! Can't wait to hear how it goes! Don't forget the Rocky theme music!
