Late night.
Well I stayed up late goofing around with my blog so I guess I might as well write a post for Wednesday.
First of all, I’m ditching my Domestic Goddess moniker. I know, please don’t cry dear reader(s?). Rest assured I am still a Goddess, but I’m only sporadically domestic, and I wouldn’t really call it the subject or purpose of my blog.
So is the purpose of my blog smugness? I’m actually not so sure about that either, but I do love my Bridget Jones reference and I can’t give it up.
I did actually make the best chocolate pie ever today, which is making me feel smug and would also qualify as my sporadic domestic act of the week. I got the recipe from The Pioneer Woman and I strongly urge all of you to make it. Now! I have to say that I actually made two of them. For one I used Ghiradelli baking chocolate, and for the other Hershey’s baking chocolate. The Ghiradelli was FAR superior. I also tried to make the Pioneer Woman’s pie crust, but I put too much flour in it and it was a disaster. Which leads me to tell you that Pillsbury makes a lovely refrigerated pie crust. Just use that instead and save yourself the tears.
Okay, extreme change of subject coming. Brace yourself.
Court is a huge fan of The Cure. He can’t help it, he’s from the ‘80s. So Robert Smith is the lead singer. Here’s a picture if you’re not familiar. He’s pretty much awesome, and has a lovely sense of style.
And here he is a lot older, but still freakin awesome.
So, Court DVRd this movie, Eraserhead. I guess there is a character in this movie whose hair was the inspiration for Robert Smith. So when Court saw that it was going to be on the Independent Film Channel he got all excited and recorded it to see the amazing movie which inspired the amazing hairdo. Anyway, this movie is just bizarre. It’s a black and white horror/sci-fi film made in 1976, and what exactly is my point?
My point is that it’s now 1:44 and I need to go to bed now before the night gets any weirder.

Oh I remember the Cure. I spend the day yesterday playing on the blog as well. Must have been something in the air.
I've attempted many times to make my blog cute like this. I obviously can't get it right, it never works. I like the new look.
Cute blog!
I second store-bought pie crusts. Mine always end up effed to the max.
