Words.
Victoria is now a bit over 20 months. She says a lot of words. I was thinking yesterday that I would make a list but it would be a pretty long list and that would seem braggy. She is truly that brilliant.
The one word that she has always transposed and said incorrectly is "cup." She usually says "puck" which I think is so adorable. It always makes me think she is destined to play hockey.
Until this morning. She asked me for more milk so I told her to find her cup and bring it to me, and off she runs saying "Cup! Cup!"
I don't know why it's so sad when they start saying things correctly. It's like she instantly grew right there before my eyes. When my nephew Andrew was little he said the cutest words. Lots of things started with a T that shouldn't have. Tate. Tourt. Tarlotte. I remember how sad it was when he started getting those words right. Now he'll hardly even talk to me! Where did we go wrong! He's only 6 and he already thinks we are all totally lame. :)
Bonus picture just because kids fresh out of the bath and in their jammies are the best thing ever.

Is it my imagination, or is Charlotte choking Victoria in that picture?
It is not your imagination. But since they were both still smiling I let it slide.
Wow, they sure do grow up fast! Such cute girls!
Awww...they're so cute. I love that fresh from the tub look (and smell) it totally beats the before the tub look and smell. I think you should publish a list of words, just so I know my kids are dumb :) But put words on there like, 'actually,' 'pensive,' and 'melancholy.' That would be awesome.
First of all, her hair is so cute!
Second ... Audrey always said "Pup" for cup. And I thought it was so precious. Then Dillon corrected her about a million times and now she says it right. But I still don't. :P
I couldn't agree more. It made me so sad the day that Mila said "kitchen" instead of calling it the "chicken."
I don't correct Ellie when she says stuff like "aminals" and she still has to concentrate to say "Mila, stop laughing" rather than "Miwa, stop waughing." I remember her first full sentence precisely. It was yelled just after she turned two from the bottom of the stairs up to Grammy: "Dwammy, I want you to tum downstaiws wight now!"
i wish I remembered more of the funny words my kids used to say before they corrected themselves.
i wondered about the choking thing too, but they are still cute anyway! V looks so grown up to me and I just saw her last month!
My favorite word Wyatt says is "bargadge" for garbage. I hope it's awhile before he gets that one right.
And Charlotte choking V cracks me up.. especially with that sweet innocent smile she's got going on.
Love that she is choking her younger sister! ha!! Wait until Victoria is bigger, she is on her way!
