Kate's tips for a Happy Halloween
Look at this cute Halloween craft! Yes Jill, I finished it. Like pretty soon after I started it, and I only screwed up a little bit. We can't count down when there are 22 days because I somehow put both the 2s on one block. Not so genius. If you want a haircut, or even some Mod Podge help, I'm your girl. You want help with your math homework? Keep moving.
Onto Halloween. Just 2 tips. It's so easy it's ridiculous.
1. Come up with a costume idea (or let your kids if you're into that teaching independence stuff) and purchase materials, tell your more talented mother how you plan to sew or tack the thing together, watch her shake her head, and then let her do it for you. Thanks Mom! My kids have the most fabulous glamorous witch costumes.
2. If your kid starts throwing up at the big Halloween bash you're attending, don't lead her down the hall resulting in 4 or 5 spots that need to be treated by the haz-mat team. Let her get it all out in one spot.
I know. Genius.
(Thankfully it wasn't my kid throwing up last night, which is why I felt free to critique I guess.)
Trick or Treat!

I knew that girl didn't look right, and then she threw up about 6 feet away from me. Poor thing!
LOVE the craft! I am so not crafty...or a mathematician so I would've failed at both.
That countdown thing is cute!! How did you do it? I want to make one for Christmas!!
