I've missed me.

I have missed my blog. And I know there's at least one other person out there who has missed my blog too. Sniff sniff, it's nice to have friends!

It's not that I don't have anything to blog about. Actually, I have been blogging in my dreams lately. I think I must miss the outlet or something. I have a lot of stuff going on in my head these days but none of it is stuff I want to let out.

See, even just saying that makes me want to stop writing. It's like an instant block.

Guess I'll talk about my kids. Charlotte started dance classes a few weeks ago. I thought perhaps she might be a little shy so I was getting her all pumped up for her first day, telling her to be nice and friendly, talking it up big time. She wasn't nervous at all, she just ran right in there and is the best little student in the class. She pays perfect attention to her teacher, and that little chick is just born to dance. Last week the teacher opened the door for a split second and Victoria stormed her way in, so she was allowed to stay for the tap dancing portion of the class. I have to say that she really held her own! She is only 19 months old, but she followed along with the teacher and really kept up quite well. What a little rock star. The class is for 3 year olds, but maybe they'll let me sneak her in. She would like that a lot better than watching through the window every week as Charlotte has all the fun. This dance class also prompted me to make a shopping trip to Kid to Kid for some tap shoes. I wasn't sure if they would even have any but they totally did and they were totally only six bucks! Can I get a woot woot!?

I should have done a 18 month Victoria post but I didn't. Poor second child! Victoria is smart and confident and independent and just a fun kid. She hasn't been sleeping well lately, which is a nice little dose of birth control for me and Courtland. It takes me right back to those first six months of her life which were basically a living hell. Bless her little heart! Anyway, back to the present. Victoria is just beautiful. She is starting to talk a lot and will repeat pretty much any word you ask her to say. Charlotte likes to quiz her when we're driving around in the car. "Victoria, say celery!" The one word Victoria really doesn't say is her own name. Sometimes I think I might hear her say Toria, but if you ask her to say her name she just says "uh-uh." It's so nice when your kid gets to this age where communication becomes an actual concept, and she will follow simple directions and answer questions with a yes or a no. Victoria loves to play with dolls and barbies, and she loves to look at books. She can also count to 10!

Well, this officially breaks my one month long blogging silence. I hope I can get back into the habit. (If I can stop playing Bejeweled on Facebook that should free up about 97 hours a day.)
