Charlotte-isms and summer update.
Yesterday I was teaching Charlotte to say "Kiss my grits."
She said "Kiss my grits. What are my grits??" All while looking over her whole body and giving herself a bit of a pat-down.
And I don't know the answer to that question. Do you?
Today we were out and about and I took the girls on a drive to find horses. We love doing this. Court indulges us sometimes, but we ditched the guy and did it ourselves. We found a pasture (Was it technically a pasture? Who can say. I don't know the correct terminology.) with four horses. We whistled at them from the car, picked out our favorite colors, Victoria kept saying "cow," and Charlotte wanted to name her favorite two horses. She named them Ella and Steve.
We've been having a fun summer. I drag my kids to the gym a lot, which they love (yeah right). And we also spend about every day out in our backyard splashing in the pool. Victoria has an amazing tan. Where did she get her skin tone? It's bizarre. I have been working on my tan (stop reading if you are a dermatologist). I should probably apologize to any of my neighbors who might be reading this. Modesty goes out the window with the blazing heat.
I forgot to blog about our eleventh anniversary. Happy anniversary Court! We had a great weekend together and majorly bonded over some cheese fries. I just love that guy. I'm sure glad I married him, and I hope he still feels the same way. I kinda think he does.

Love the strawberry swimsuits!
Oh and I just thought of something else - Court OWES you a horse drive indulgence once in awhile after all of those car drives we went on!
They are BIG Kate!! What happened to your little baby? She's not a baby.
Cute pics!!! A bunch of Babes I tell you!
Your kids always make me laugh. They're so cute!
Your girls are getting so big!! They always crack me up also. Love it.
we bought this exact same pool - and had some fun summer days in it. It lasted really well. We used it almost daily for 2 months, and its still holding up. Not bad for $10.
