First sentence.
You might remember our neighbors, the people with the foil over their window. What I think I failed to mention, and which you can't see from the picture, is that these neighbors are raising 3 chickens in the piece of crap shed at the back of their yard. Right next to our fence. It's been kind of interesting. So far there is no odor involved so that's good news. I think the close proximity to farm life is making Court even more of a vegetarian. If that's possible.
Anyway, our kids and our dog like to go to the fence and hang out with the chickens. This prompted Victoria's very first sentence.
"Hi chicken."
