11 months and a recommitment.

I just realized that it's the 3rd and Victoria is eleven months old today. I thought I should at least recognize that on my blog before I go to bed. Besides, why would I actually want to go to bed before midnight? This is practically the only time when the house is quiet and I have to take advantage. It's funny that she is only 11 months because she seems well over a year already to me. I just got a bunch of clothes out of the closet for her to wear and it's stuff Charlotte wore from 18 months until about 3 months ago. They are just so different. I wonder when they will actually be the same size? It's probably going to be an Amy/Kate situation where Victoria passes up Charlotte in about 3 years. All day Victoria has been walking around saying "oh yeah?" She seems to be experimenting with her voice a little more the last couple of days and making funny sounds. She loves to sing in the car. She's a crack up!

Um, I have been inspired by some other people who are awesome, and I'm going to recommit to giving up sugar for the next few months. I guess if I put it out there on the internet then that is an extra level of accountability, no? I've been dieting since December, and I've been doing quite well if I do say so myself. But for the last couple of days I've had a little sugar here and there. I made chocolate pudding for Charlotte to finger paint with, and wow, I just shouldn't ever do that again. She doesn't need arts and crafts time anyway, right? Anyway, I don't need to confess all my sins here for the world to read (I know you're reading world), I just am rambling because it's 11:45 at night and I apparently can't put two thoughts together at this time of night. Maybe I should make a paper chain. The paper chain of sugary goodness that I'm not allowed to have until June.

I'm getting super excited for my new salon adventure so stay tuned for more on that. We picked a paint color today for an accent wall and hallelujah I get to have an orange wall! I'm a happy girl! It is so great to have something to decorate.

I'm also thankful for the lovely weather today. Keep it up Mother Nature. I need it!

Rambling over. Goodnight.

I always thought Megan would pass up Natalie. She hasn't...yet. Karen will probably end up passing both of her older sisters.

Clearly it wasn't your husband that inspired you to give up sugar! Maybe you can inspire him.

Welcome to the world of no sugar. It's not so bad. You can do it. Just get out your swim suit and look at it everyday for motivation. But I would suggest to give yourself a few cheat days. One could end up in the looney hospital if deprived of all sugary goodness.

I have a friend doing the no sugar thing, too. But she can have a treat on Mondays.

It's really not so bad after the first week. I seriously don't even want it anymore.

Quit being all "committed" and everything! It's making me jealous. Oh. Did I say that out loud??!?

Just kidding.

I meant to say, "Keep up the good work!"

Well, I'm in the no sugar category, but not out of choice. YEA you're doing the no sugar thing with me!

Funny you should mention a paper chain, because I made an "Audrey Goes to Nursery" chain today after church!

Good luck on the sugar ban.
