Oh yeah, Christmas.

I seem to have forgotten to document a kind of important holiday we just had. We had a great Christmas around here. I had a brief spell of crafty genius and painted some new Christmas art, my mom taught me and Andrea how to make a pretty killer gingerbread house, we did our annual drive around Temple Square (seriously, who is crazy enough to park and get out of the car?), and Santa Claus came to town. Most of all we had some great family fun and don't forget that Andrea and I surprised everyone with a fantastic piano and violin duet! We're amazing. Amy was deathly ill but it meant that she got to spend a week at our house and we miss her now that she has returned to her life. It was also fun to have Ashley and Wyatt here on Christmas morning to share in the joy and magic and skier's french toast.

Oh yeah, look at these cute cookies I made!

Christmas morning.

I can't believe I'm posting this picture, but look, it's our whole family! Kitty Gladys included.
I don't have anything to report about New Year's. I had a cold, the kids had colds, and I fell asleep on the couch at about 9:00. I woke up at 11:30 to find Court zonked out on the floor. Wow, we are old and so lame! Happy new year.

I can't believe you went all "Mormon housewife" on me with all those cute and crafty things.

I guess it's my turn to go all "Stephenie Meyer" out on you again...

Wow, those cookies are so cute! And your artwork, what the hell, Kate? Are you holding out on me? Can you make me something cute to hang on my wall for my burfday? That gives you 3 months... ;)

I LOVE how Kitty is watching over everything in that last one. He's almost like a pit boss in Las Vegas.
