Twilight
If you have a blog, you must have at least one post dedicated to Twilight. This is mine.
I don't like the Twilight series.
I won't be going to see the movie.
I think the books get more and more ridiculous as they progress. Twilight was okay. The second book, kind of bad. The third book, totally wretched and hateful. The fourth book? I refuse.
Somebody tagged me (and only me because I'm cool like that) with a bunch of "Which Twilight Character Are You?" quizzes. I thought I'd eventually humor her, and here I am, almost a month later, getting around to it. Well, I just finished my first quiz and I'm horrified by the results. I never realized that I was so whiny, fashion challenged, co-dependent, clumsy, and ridiculous. But the quizzes never lie. I won't be taking any more. I can't handle it.

I liked the first book and was laughing by book 4.

lol...i read all 4 books and saw the movie (just because it was a GNO) and i haven't written a blog on twilight...i must be stronger than you! lol :P and i agree...they just got worse...4 was way too long!
Are we friends? Hello! I LOVED the books. Frankly the first and the last were my favorites. I don't know if I enjoyed them because I FINALLY was able to read some books since college (yeah, who has time to read) but I really enjoyed them. I'm going to see the movie. But I won't be wearing red and black, or a prom dress or a tiara to the movie, that's a bunch more involved than I'll ever be. Congrats on caving - it was fun to read!
So does that mean you're not naming your next child "Renesmee"?
I vow to name my next daughter Renesmee if she somehow turns out to be half vampire.

I've never read any part of the Twilight series. They would kick me out of my PhD program if I even tried.
Oh Kate...you should really see the movie. You'll get a good laugh and feel a bit embarrased for the actors and anyone associated with he movie. I think you'll enjoy it ;)
I completely and totally concur. Twiglight = lame.
lol, how do you 2 (brits and kate) know about renesmee (or however you spell that horrible name) if you haven't read #4? and yes, kate go see the movie and get a good laugh at all the "tension"!
Hooray!!!! Someone else that agrees with me! I'm seriously feeling like I'm in the minority because all of my bloggy pals are waxing poetic about how great the movie and books are.
Hi! Blog stalking again but I SOOOO TOTALLY AGREE with this post. Oh my gosh I feel the same way. I seriously couldn't stand the fourth book. They just kept getting WORSE! Oh and the movie was awful.
