I can't believe I was right.

This morning, after telling Charlotte that her food belongs in her mouth and her tummy and NOT on the floor she let out a huge sigh and said "I guess you're right."


I am frantically trying to get ready for Christmas. I don't know why I thought I had all the time in the world. Good grief. I still need to get Charlotte's main present and I hope to heck I can still find it somewhere. I also need to get Victoria some shoes which means a trip all the way up to Babinski's, or I guess I could go to Nordstrom. I don't know who else carries Robeez. Maybe I should call around. I think I'm going to make Charlotte a new tutu also. A really long one. She has absolutely thrashed the last one I made her. It's kind of sick looking now.

I'm excited for Christmas with my kids this year. Charlotte was so grumpy last Christmas, it was kind of anticlimactic. We ended up sleeping most of the day and not really going anywhere. This year I expect perkiness and excitement from everyone. Or else! Or else I'll wrap it all back up and we'll try again in a couple of days.
