First Injury

Victoria crashed and burned while cruising around our bedroom. We think she scraped her nose on the corner of our box spring. This picture was a few days ago. It looks a lot better today. I hope it doesn't leave a scar.

I just realized that today is the 3rd, which means Victoria is 8 months old today. She is such a happy girl these days. She naps like a dream and usually goes down with little to no fight. She sleeps from about 8:00 until 5:30, eats, and then goes back to sleep for a couple more hours. I just can't complain! She just cut her first two teeth last week and she's been a little fussy but not too bad. She is the most active kid. She is always moving, crawling, climbing, banging her hands on things, walking along the furniture, laughing, making sucking sounds with her mouth, and smiling. She says Momma and Dadda and she waves her hand. Usually she waves when she wants more of something or if I'm not spooning her food into her fast enough. She knows who the kitty and the puppy are and if you ask her where they are she'll scan the room until she finds them. She can stand unassisted for a really long time. Probably minutes if she didn't get distracted by other things to do. She'll be walking really soon which is just crazy, but I guess I can't stop her! She just wants to be a big kid. She can't really be bothered with baby toys. She wants Charlotte's toys and Charlotte's books.

She's just a sweetie and we love her! It was a rough start Victoria but I think we'll keep ya.
