Tonight Charlotte said "landing on beds is what I do best."
When I was getting her ready for bed she wanted me to sing "I Am Like a Star Shining Brightly" while she sang "I Am a Child of God". It made for an interesting medley, and I was impressed at how well she hung onto her own lyrics while I sang mine.
Court and I actually got to go on a date tonight. It was great! We went to dinner with our friends Becky and Dave and we had an awesome time. Becky is the reason Court and I know each other, so of course we're forever in her debt (well, I am at least). We haven't ever gotten to know her husband Dave very well because they have lived far away until recently. It was fun to eat and laugh. Just what we needed today. And perhaps the highlight of the night for me was when we were headed home and Court got us on Northbound I-15 instead of Southbound. I love it when stuff like that happens and I can feel justified in being a backseat driver. See what happens when I don't pay attention and tell Court which way to turn and when? See? See?
Tomorrow we're carving pumpkins which is going to be great! Court, who has for some reason been really anti-fun sometimes, got really into the pumpkin carving last year. I need to start working on our designs for tomorrow.

Charlotte has a pretty funny way of looking at things. I'm glad you an Court were able to go out on date. While I was growing up my parents went out EVERY week. Duane and I need to be better about it. Speaking of Duane, I think his hair is like two weeks too long. I like it longer I just think it makes him look so thin on top.
Date nights are the best!!!

Woo! Date night. Gotta love that. Remember when we used to have Hickman/Page family fun night? Usually at the Benz dealer? *Sigh*
Well, not really. Tell Court that I'll bring Camille and we can go on a double date that will be way funner than those days. :)
Charlotte is awesome. She shines at whatever she does, including landing on the bed. Simply amazing!
