We needed a fun activity to do today because we're still too sick to leave the house but not sick enough to lie on the couch and watch movies all day. We just need a break from the TV altogether. So I remembered this fun art project my mom used to do with us when we were itty bitty.

Charlotte helped me make the pudding. She stirred the pudding mix into the milk before I turned the stove on. Safety first!

Hot stove! Now she has to watch from way down below.

Which made her really bored so she went and woke up her sister from her nap. Thanks Charlotte.

Mmmm. Pudding's done! Some to eat later, some to paint with now.

She stays remarkably clean. Are we sure she's not Andrea's child instead of mine?

Victoria got in on the action. She knows how to get good and messy. First thing she smeared it all over her head.
So fun!

I love it!
I haven't seen Tori for so long that I am thinking she is turning into a chunk. I need to come look at them both!
That is SO cute! I think Anistyn would get a kick out of that!
We tried that with Hunter when she was a preschooler and she stuck her bottom lip out and said "I don't want to paint with chocolate pudding". We still say that when we don't want to do something. Looks like tons of fun though!
Oh what a fun idea! I need to try that with Ethan one day when Dan isn't home. He would get nervous with the mess.
How fun! I love the picture of charlotte patiently waiting for the pudding to cook.
that looks so fun, you are a nice mommy. I will take credit for any cleanliness though the girl aint mine :) maybe my genes slipped in there somewhere, we are related.
That does look fun. And yummy.
Well arent we the crafty fun mom. Maybe I should unlock my kids from their shackles and play with them more. We are doing a pudding paint session today!
