Sudden downpour.

So like I'm not in shape. If you've seen me lately, you surely are aware of this fact. I'm painfully aware, trust me. I feel as though I have basically been pregnant since the summer of 2005. I've had a couple of months of break in there, but really, I've been pregnant 3 times since then. So now I've got my great kids and I'd like to perhaps get in shape. I don't need to be in American Gladiator shape, but I'd like to be able to run around the block and also maybe wear pants about 2 sizes smaller.

Blah blah blah.

So tonight Ashley came over so we could go for a walk. It was cloudy outside and looked like it might sprinkle a bit. Then came the sudden downpour from the skies and from Charlotte Skye. She was horrified! Screaming. Yeah, she was getting pretty wet because although my stroller has a large and amazingly waterproof canopy the rain was coming at us sideways. So jiggly Kate had to RUN for like a third of a mile to seek shelter at the pavilion at the park. I felt like one of those people who have a burst of adrenaline in an emergency situation and can lift a city bus with one arm.

New fitness program: Couch to 5K in 20 minutes (who needs 6 weeks!). Just be sure to run when the skies look like a potential tornado.

Oh gosh, Kate. You make me laugh. We were in Eagle Mountain when the downpour started. It was torrential. And the lightning was intense, too. I would have freaked out if you were pushing me in a jogging stroller when it was happening, too. ;)

You wanna run the Turkey Trot with me for Thanksgiving??

You know, if Charlotte wasn't with you that may have been fun, but I'm just a freak that likes to stand in the rain. Ah bliss!

Omg, I totally feel you. Don't you hate it when you lie down on your side, and you feel your stomach lie down next to you?

Luckily for you, having progeny to protect gives you such strength! Jealous!

Good times were had by all but Charlotte. lol Poor thing. I don't think that Wyatt really knew what to think about the situation. It was fun though!

5k in 20 minutes? You can totally do it! I am starting my running regiment tomorrow at 6am to do the same thing, lose some weight.

"Jiggly Kate"?

Bwahahahahaha!

Shut it. Remember that time you were my twin?

Grr. You are lovely, just the way you are.

Yes I want to run a turkey trot! Whatever that is. Only if there are no turkeys there.

And Jill doesn't need to lose weight so blah.

And Lynette, you are skinnier than me now. Don't talk to me.

LMAO! Turkey trots rule AND you can dress up like an indian. I hope you like jogging in war paint and a loin cloth.

You're the hottest person I've ever seen in real life and don't you forget it.

Kate-I can always count on you for a laugh! I ran today by choice and will need to spend the rest of the day in my chair being served diet cokes by my children. I just wished it would rain.
