5 Months

We have survived 5 months of Hurricane Victoria!

Our sweetie pie turned 5 months on the 3rd, and I've been trying to get this post done, but life life life. It's busy man! Some things that Victoria Ruby does/likes:

• Rolls all over the place.
• Is so so so close to crawling. Scoots backwards and gets up on her knees and rocks front to back.
• Also really close to sitting by herself.
• Squeals and screams and talks with a super high pitched voice--it's that sound of cleaning a mirror, that really high pitched squeaky clean sound.
• Smiles all the time. Wakes up in the morning with the biggest grin. Quite happy as long as she's got some entertainment and you're not trying to get her to go to sleep.
• Can sometimes get her own binky back in her mouth--an important skill.
• Recognizes her name and totally grins when she hears it.
• She just has the sparkliest eyes in America. Could she really be any prettier?

We love our Tori! She has such a sweet personality and you can just tell that once she can move around by herself she's going to feel like a free woman. She is just one of those really physical kids who wants to run and play. She and Charlotte just love each other as long as Victoria isn't pulling Charlotte's hair. They sit in the car next to each other and hold hands. It's so fun to have our two little girls! We feel so blessed.

I had to edit to add this: I know the last picture of Victoria is kind of funny. I just love the way she sleeps on her stomach (heck, she could sleep standing on her head and I'd just be thrilled to see her asleep). She is just so funny with her dark hair and her footie jammies on. She looks like a doll lying there. Weird picture, but it makes me smile!
