A Child's Prayer.
You never really want to laugh while your sweet child is saying her prayers. Especially because she just barely started saying her own prayers. She has the standard prayer pretty much memorized. "Thank you for our blessings, thank you for our family...." Last night while she was praying, she looked up and asked me "bless numbers?" Ha! I tried not to laugh and said, "Sure! Please bless your numbers." I'm so proud that she is putting her own feelings into her prayers. Tonight I hope she's thankful for the alphabet.

ADORABLE! Josh always puts colors in his prayers... lellow, buu, poople, etc. LOL
I have to agree in that it is in very bad form to laugh at your child while they are praying, however, Carlos and I couldn't help ourselves when last night Lexi thanked Heavenly Father for pooping on the toilet. Yes, she really did. And then she thanked him for tv. And I had to give her a resounding "Amen" because really those are awesome things to be thankful for dontcha think?

So cute! Grace prays for all kinds of stuff... that she'll have a good breakfast the next morning, that Mom won't be grouchy, that she'll be able to go to Disneyland. We laugh at her prayers all the time. And of course Roman doesn't say prayers yet. He does try to repeat the words we say, while we're saying them.
That is too funny! Ask her to bless my numbers too, as in the numbers in my bank account...
