So anyway, I went back to work today. Victoria is 8 weeks old, I've had 10 weeks off of work, and it was time! It did creep up on me quite abruptly. A couple of days ago my mom said "when are you going back to work?" I said, "oh not until May first." She said, "uh, that's Thursday." Waah! I wasn't prepared! It was a really long day but it's always fun to see my clients when I haven't seen them for a while. And it's always fun to show off my gorgeous children with a stack of 30 pictures that I forced each client to look through. Let's be truthful, I didn't have to twist anybody's arm. So now my back hurts like a mother and I'll spend tomorrow recovering. Oh, the aftermath of childbearing.
I'll also spend tomorrow getting a little blonder. Woo! I started my blondification process a couple of weeks ago by myself. It took about 7 hours on a lovely Sunday, and by the end I had some nasty blisters on my scalp. You know when those girls on America's Next Top Model cry because the bleach is burning their scalp. They're not kidding folks. The pain is real. I hope to come away from my hair appointment tomorrow blister free. Crossing all my fingers.
What else, what else.... Victoria slept for 7 hours last night! It was INCREDIBLE. Seven hours of sleep feels like about 15 at this point. I think she's getting over this super fun colicky stage she's been in. Please bless.
You might want to notice that Charlotte is holding her favorite item--the bum cream. Then you might want to go back and watch the bum cream video one more time, just for kicks.

Lol, cute video!! "For my cheeks mommy." Ha ha, I just kept waiting for you to say "yeah, but not those cheeks sweetie." And Victoria's hair is gorgeous. I just love a baby with a full head of hair and she's got enough to spare. How bout you send some my way, as you see my baby doesn't have much hair, sniff sniff. Oh and in keeping with susiee q's post, my verification word is EFDYO which makes me say in my head "What the EFDYO?" Now I'm feeling all ghetto fabulous and shiz.

Oh my goodness - Tori is getting to be so big! I feel your back pain girl. Going back to work is the worst. Take a hot shower and let it just pound that lower back. Ah!
