So she says. . .

"I'm not a baby doll. I'm a Charlotte."

Charlotte and I have had a fun day of shopping today! What better bonding experience is there for a mother and her two year old daughter? We started out our shopping extravaganza by heading to Layers with some of our girlfriends. I got a couple of shirts, but quickly realized that I haven't quite recovered from having Victoria. Or Charlotte. Perhaps I should invest in an AbLounge. Or steal one from my mother in law. I'm certain she only uses it to hang clothes on. The shirts I got are awesome and I'm already wishing I had gotten this one that I got in white in black also, but I'm trying to stop buying so many black clothes. Next thing you know I'll be wearing black liquid eyeliner.

Then later in the day Lottie and I went to Mervyn's. Mervyn's has the very very very cutest clothes for little girls. Their Sprockets brand is so great! Everything washes up nicely and holds up well so I know I'll be able to keep things for Tori to wear, but most importantly their clothes are so stylin! I almost don't want to tell other people to shop there, but this is my public service of the month. Or year. Buy Sprockets clothing for your little girl. She'll be the hottest little mama around. So everything was 50% off and I went a little crazy. A lot crazy. And I think I'll sneak back over there in the next couple of days for take two. Don't tell Courtland. Oh, and the best part of this shopping spree was that my cute little daughter insisted on wearing her sunglasses everywhere we went. One guy in Barnes and Noble said "are you a movie star?"

Other awesome news: 2 nights in a row Victoria has slept for a whole 5 hour stretch. Ahhhhhhhh. I'm a happy mom.

Oh, my life is so exciting, this blog entry just keeps getting better and better!! So our good friends Susan and Paul got a new fabulous tv. And they probably think we're pathetic with our 1970's console tv so they donated their old big screen to us. I'm a little sad to think of my poor console tv out all alone in the garage. It's a family heirloom! But mostly I'm embarrassed about the gigantic behemoth (that's right, I said behemoth) of a tv. It is far too large for our family room, far too large for our entertainment center, and far too large for my lifestyle! But we're keeping it for now. I need to take a picture, but I have to wait until the area surrounding is cleaner than it is now. Stay tuned.

Yay for 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep!!! Are you glowing?

Behemoth TV, eh? I love it. When it gets warmer, lets turn it around so you can see it through the sliding glass doors and have a blanket movie night from the lawn. :)

I had fun at Layers! Thanks for coming.

Also, Audrey only has (maybe) 3 Sprockets outfits, but they are her CUTEST. So I can agree with you about that! I just didn't know where Sprockets was sold, and now I do. I think I vaguely remember my mom buying it for my sisters when I was younger (we were hardcore Mervyn's shoppers back then). I guess this means we're going to Mervyn's!

I'm a Camille.

And hey, what's so wrong with black liquid liner?

(says the girl who wears it 4 times a year...)

Thanks for the Mervyn's tips! I need to make a trip there soon, since I spent an hour last night trying to find DH a church shirt that worked, i.e. missing buttons, needs to be ironed every time, no fun.
I think I'll mosey on by the kids' dept, too.
