Knock knock
Did you know we have woodpeckers in Utah? I thought woodpeckers were a mythical creature with a hysterical laugh. Yesterday as I got out of the shower I could hear some knocking. I could tell it was right outside of my sleeping Charlotte's window so I peeked. Couldn't see any weird guy with a hammer. So I put on my robe and stood on the front porch. And there was a freakin' woodpecker pecking away at the house! It was about four feet above Charlotte's window, pecking at the wood siding. I should have taken a picture but I was so astounded I couldn't think of what to do. I thought "throw a rock." Then I thought "are you crazy it will peck your eyeballs right out of your head!" So I did nothing and a few seconds later it flew to the tree, never to be seen again.

LOL peck your eyeballs out! I sure hope you would run in the house before it had a chance at your eyeballs!
Your blog is way cute! I need to do something to mine. I just don't feel like it right now. I did come out of hiding though and posted more.
About being preggers - I think I hold babies different than other women because I'm getting the comments of "when are you due" meaning, "you look like you're ready to drop a watermelon!"
wow, i've never seen a woodpecker! was it big?
He he. Perhaps you should write an article for National Geographic. This sounds very adventurous of you.
I hope he comes back! We need a picture.
We see wood peckers quite regularly in our huge maple tree in our front yard!
