Eyes!

Last night, my sweet little Charlotte was being a pill and not going to sleep. So after a couple of attempts at putting her to bed, I got her up and was reading her some books. Then I was singing her a couple of songs--I know, don't you wish you had been there? It was broadway quality, rest assured. So in the middle of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Charlotte reaches up to my face and says "eyes!" What a brilliant genius of a daughter we have! So I had to rush her out to the family room so she could perform her new word for Court for 30 minutes. She is so cute! She is picking up words pretty fast now and it's hard to record when it happens. She said "Minnie Mouse" the other day, but it's just been a one-time thing so far. My niece Alisa and her husband Trent and their big dog Axel were just here today visiting me and when they left Charlotte said "bye doggie!" I couldn't get her to say it again, but I swear that's what she said!

I sure hope that when we have more kids they are as cute as she is because so far it seems impossible!
