Oh how I love Camille!

Yay for me because I got to see Camille today for a few hours! And then tonight, Sleepless in Seattle is on TV so I thought that was a sign for sure. A sign of what, you ask? I really don't know.

Story time. So this evening I drove Camille to the airport, and we started downtown, and took North Temple all the way to the airport. So we passed through some, ahem, rough neighborhoods. At one light, there was this piece of crap car next to us with 2 skuzzball looking guys in it. I noticed them, they were skuzzy, and I thought "would it be too obvious if I locked the doors right now?" You know when you really want to lock the doors, but you are paranoid that if you do, the people who you are trying to keep out will hear your automatic locks go "click" and then they will be pissed because you thought they were skuzzy and totally horrifying? So I didn't lock the doors. I told myself to chill. Well at the next light, right by the Radisson, they looked at us, and the passenger raised his hand out his window and waved at us really big-like. At this point, we avoided all eye contact and I might have peed my pants a little bit. Carry on to the airport. They are following us. Maybe they are going to the airport too? However, they don't look like they could afford to be flying anywhere, they look like they might be terrorists with bombs in their shoes. Mostly they just look like they haven't showered. But maybe they do have a legitimate reason to be going to the airport on this fine evening. Nope. They are for sure following us. Getting into the lane we're in. Getting in the lane next to us! Going up to the short-term parking right alongside us, pulling up to grab a ticket from the little machine so the arm can go up and let them in. Well thank heavens at this point they thought better of following us into the actual short-term parking and they high tailed it out of there. You know, sometimes it's nice to be followed. It's flattering when some cute guy waves at you from his car. But when it's the dregs of society? Ugg.

I feel like I need to have a shower now. They were that skuzzy.

Oh, will someone please try that video of Charlotte again and see if it works?

I have the same paranoia!! Your story was making me laugh my butt off! I loved it! Probably because the same things have happened to me. I remember when Jenna and I were going to your baby shower (mind you, we were both preggo) and these guys were totally trying to pick up on us. Um, married, with one kid at home and one kid on the way! Like how freakin' hot do you think we are? :)

Kate, I love it when you name postings for me. I love you too!

You forgot to tell the story about alopecia areata!

And yes, Lottie's video works and it is totally adorable. And I liked your commentary. You are the next Bob Costas!

I'd also like to add that Kate was freaked out by the skuzzy men. I was just happy to get some male attention...

You gotta take what you can get sometimes.
