Hi

You'll all be happy to know that my hair has calmed down a bit. I'm thinking of changing the theme of this entire blog to "Kate's Hair." It will be fascinating!

In other exciting news, Little Miss Charlotte Skye (or Charolette Sky depending on who's doing the spelling) is adding to her vocabulary! Yesterday I was talking on the phone to Andrea and Charlotte wanted a turn, so I held the phone to her ear, Aunt Andrea said "Hi Charlotte," and Charlotte said "hi" in this deep husky voice. It was so funny! Granted she had just been awakened from a nap and that might account for the husky voice, but I secretly hope she has a raspy smoker voice. Ok I really don't. Nothing is cuter than her high-pitched giggles and squeals.

We also went to a baby shower last night, and I maybe shouldn't have taken Lottie with me because she was by far the cutest child there. It might have stolen some of the attention from the teensy baby who we were all supposed to be admiring and fawning over. Oh well! Can I really help it if my child is stunningly beautiful and also completely adorable and entertaining?
